Clinical Director

The Vashti Center, Inc. is seeking a full time Clinical Director for its Clinic and Community Services Department. This position requires a Master’s Degree in a Social Service Field and licensure in the State of Georgia, as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Must have experience with supervision and management of staff. Previous experience with Electronic Health Records is a must and at least 5 years of clinical experience in child/adolescent treatment is preferred.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides clinical review and management of individual services
  • Ensures program adherence to fidelity model programs (e.g. ACT, SE, High Fidelity Wrap, etc.)
  • Develops and maintains programmatic budget
  • Provides regular training and evaluation of staff members
  • Participates in the development, implementation and ongoing assessment of programs
  • Completes billing for services provided

Licensed Registered Nurse

Qualifications:

The Vashti Center, Inc seeks a part time Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for its Clinic and Community Program to work on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 8am-5pm weekly. This position requires a current Georgia RN license to practice; be at least twenty-one (21) years of age, and have a valid driver’s license.  Experience with psychiatric nursing of children and adolescents is preferred.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides nursing assessments or initial nursing consult prior to consumer being seen by physician
  • Provides health education to consumers and parents as needed
  • Works with the clinic office for scheduling and updates the Electronic Medical Records system as needed
  • Completes medication consent forms
  • Travels to the Bainbridge satellite clinic as needed

Therapist – Bainbridge

Qualifications:

The Vashti Center, Inc. is seeking a full time Therapist for its Clinic and Community Services Department.  This position requires a Master’s degree in a Social Service Field and must be licensed eligible in the state of Georgia, as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW. Clinical supervision will be provided to meet licensure requirements if needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provides individual and family therapy as directed by consumer’s assessment and treatment plan
  • Provides therapy based on evidence-based theory and approaches to best meet the needs of presenting clients
  • Ensures quality documentation will be submitted in a timely manner for the purpose of meeting service and state guidelines and billing
  • Develops awareness of service guidelines standards applicable to all providers of services for child/adolescent community mental health and addictive diseases.
  • Complies with fiscal intermediary service timetables.
  • Participates in staffing of caseload as requested which may include initiating and overseeing PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility) or psychiatric hospitalization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of family systems and their impact on mental health within the family
  • Skill in applying varies interventions with individuals/families in crisis
  • Skill in working with variety of cultures
  • Skill in working independently and implementing time management strategies
  • Ability to demonstrate positive team interactions with other clinic staff
  • Awareness of personal strengths and appropriate timing for referrals.

Billing Specialist

Qualifications:

The Vashti Center, Inc. is seeking a full time Billing Specialist. This position requires a high school diploma or GED with experience in third-party insurance billing. Additional requirements include knowledge in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel as well as QuickBooks.  Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Process, post, and track billing charges utilizing billing software and QuickBooks
  • Process, post, and track billing charge denials
  • Process, post, and track billing payments utilizing billing software and QuickBooks
  • Process weekly and monthly reports
  • Balance monthly reports with billing software and QuickBooks

PRN Childcare Worker

Qualifications:

The PRN Child Care Worker must be at least 21 years of age with a valid Driver’s License. Must have at least a High School Diploma or GED and two years of direct service experience with children and families or an Associate’s degree or higher in behavioral or social science field.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor children and adolescents in daily routine and activities
  • Transport children and adolescents to school and varying appointments
  • Manage behavioral issues
  • Document in charts, incident reports, cottage log, medication management, etc.
  • Ensure cleanliness of cottage
  • Attend required trainings

The PRN Child Care Worker is needed to work non-traditional hours to include 12-hour shifts, weekends, and be readily available to provide shift coverage in the event of staff call-outs or vacations.
