Residential Care
The Residential Program (RBWO) serves boys and girls ages 6 to 17 who are unable to function within the community. Most of the children served in this program are in state custody due to issues of abuse and neglect and frequently have no outside family invovlement. Children in this program suffer from one or more of the following conditions:

- Oppositional Behavior
- Attention Deficit Disorder
- Anxiety Disorders
- Poor Motivation for School
- Problems with Impulse Control
- Verbal Aggression
- Poor Coping Skills
- Depression
- Poor Interpersonal Skills
- Physical, Emotional, and Sexual Abuse
Clinical Services
Clinical Services is a liscensed and fully functioning Mental Health Center used to care for youth/childre and their families. Services consist of psychiatric and nursing assessments; individual, group and family therapies, group skills training. A diagnostic assessment is conducted at the ouset and the approprieate clinical and/or community services are indicatede at this time. Treatment focuses on behavioral and emotional issues that may be present in any number of environments including school, home, and in the community. Appointments are flexible to accommodate working families.
Community Services
The Vashti Center’s Community Service programs are designed to provide mental health and substance abuse services for youth ages 5 through 17 and their families in a home setting. The community -based programs are Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) and Community Support Individual Services (CSI).
Intensive Family Intervention (IFI) Services are delivered by a team of clinical and community support workers, and are intended to improve family functioning and preserve in-home placement as opposed to residential care placement. Led by licednsed therapists the team is focused on providing services that work to strengthgen the family’s functioning of each member individually and as a family. Treatment focuses on crisis intervention, individual and family therapies, skills building, case management, and linkage with community resources.
Community Support Individual Services (CSI) Mental health and substance abuse services are provided in the community to assist the child/youth with needed resources in order to more fully function. The child/youth is assisted with personal development and school performance as well as enhancement of natural support and identifying substance abuse rish factors. In addition, the child/youth and family may receive individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, plus psychiatric and nursing services.
Bishop Hall Charter School
Bishop Hall was created for students whose academic and social needs have not been met adequately by the traditional school environment. Bishop Hall strives to provide students with equal access to quality educational programs and the necessary social services in an environment that allows students the opportunity to achieve their maximum learning potential. Students are prepared for the future as responsible and productive citizens within their community and beyond. (Located on The Vashti Campus, but administered by the Thomas County School System).
