Community Program

We firmly believe that healthy families lead to healthy communities. This commitment has inspired us in our work aiding children and youth who are currently living with mental health struggles. As a mission we want to be a beacon of faith, hope, and healing while working with these children as well as their families and guardians to ensure the brightest possible futures for the kids of the counties we provide services in. Children in our Residential Program are also fortunate enough to receive care via our Community Program as well.

Residential Program

There are many children in this world, including our community, who have had to endure various trauma(s), and/or find themselves on a path to a life that holds little hope. One of the ways we are blessed to serve these children during times of pivotal crisis is by offering faith, hope, and healing through our Residential Program (Room, Board, and Watchful Oversight – RBWO). It has been uniquely designed to provide a safe, structured, and consistently nurturing environment that allows healing and growth for children ranging in ages 10 – 18.

Vashti provides a holistic approach by empowering the children to be active participants during their time with us. It is paramount that our children feel safe physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually. When these needs are met we not only see stability, but truly uplifting growth.

We are devoted to helping these children by working with them to build trust and promote an environment that allows for growth and healing. We pay special attention to strengths in order to build a strong foundation for a positive future. In tandem with our Community Program, the Residential Program helps work towards the goals of the treatment plan and providing the support and resources necessary to make positive steps forward. We have found that it is best to work closely with families/guardians to ensure that constructive change is acknowledged and reinforced by the community united to raise healthy, happy, and resilient children.

Thanks to local support we are able to provide some additional resources to aid in our mission:

Church/Church Functions
Bible Study
Character Counts Program (Provided By: Thomasville Rotary Club)
Mentoring Program
Public School Placement
Technical School Placement
YMCA Membership
Extracurricular Activities

Independent Living Program Opportunities

Our children dream of peaceful, loving, and nurturing homes. The time they spend with us, growing and completing our program, allows for them to return to their best selves and gives them the skills to lead a full life outside of our grounds. We work with their families/guardians to find living arrangements that allow them to prepare to move on to the next chapter in their lives.
