Therapist - Bainbridge Office

QUALIFICATIONS:

Master’s degree in social services field such as Counseling or Social Work is required. Licensure not required, but preferred. Must be in the State of Georgia as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, preferred at least 2 years clinical experience in child/adolescent treatment.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Development and conceptualization of child/adolescent needs based on presenting circumstances, family history, cultural considerations, and stated desires of child/adolescent and family. Provide therapy based on evidence-based theory and approaches to best meet the needs of presenting clients. Quality documentation submitted in a timely manner for the purpose of meeting service and State guidelines, and billing. This position will work in our Bainbridge, GA location.

HR Manager - Thomasville Office

QUALIFICATIONS:

At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human resources or related fields with three years’ experience or leading and managing staff.

Good organizational skills; working knowledge of worker’s compensation laws, fair labor practices, and the personality to work cooperatively in group relationships.  Must be neat and have the ability to work with the public.  Must be knowledgeable of computer software and server operations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The HR Manager is responsible for recruiting, screening, and processing of selected employees including monitoring and scheduling of training for employees.  The maintenance of all personnel files, affirmative action logs and reports, monitoring worker compensation claims, department of labor reports and claims, and the monitoring of all personnel policies and procedures to insure compliance with federal and state laws.  Monitoring of staff training hours to insure state required all staff maintain hours.  HR Manager processes payroll services and oversees all aspects of credentialing process for Community and Clinical staff members.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITES:

  • Prepares and coordinates all employment advertising including in house posting of positions, media advertising, job fairs, seminars and workshops and contacts with other agencies.
  • Gathers and screens to insure that qualifications/credentialing requirements are met on all applications/resumes and maintains constant communication with the Supervisor/Director seeking to fill a position regarding status and inquiry of scheduling of interviews for same.  Responds appropriately to all employment inquiries and follow through on all applications with either timely pursuit for future interviews, position status reports to applicants, or terminates the interview process.  Prior to job offer, verifies references and employment history of applicants.
  • Schedules pre-employment appointments for background checks/fingerprints, physicals, and drug screens and monitors timely. Responsible for scheduling the orientation and required training of all new employees/contract workers.  Assures that all hiring/contract documents are understood and signed by the employee/contract worker and properly placed in the personnel/contract file.  Assures the completion of the credentialing process for Clinic and Community staff.
  • Works with Big Oak Advisors in the maintenance of HR Software program and establishes e-mail addresses and training of use of software with new staff.
  • Monitors all workers’ compensation claims in order to minimize costs.  Make certain that all incident reports are filed within the three day report time (to avoid penalties); that all necessary paper work to calculate benefits are reported to the worker’s compensation board within the given time specified; that the procedures and notice of qualifying physicians are posted.
  • Responsible for printing and filing ESI and Incident reports for RBWO in the Business Office and the maintenance of an on-going log of these reports.
  • Manages and monitors all unemployment compensation claims to minimize cost.  This includes proper documentation, counsel, and direction to those involved in the termination process.
  • Represents the agency when appropriate at hearings.  Confers with their supervisor and/or Executive Director when council is necessary.  
  • Participates with supervisors in disciplinary actions to ensure policy and procedure is being followed and that the agency is following all applicable state and federal laws.
  • Responsible for maintaining fingerprinting, applications and other information required for volunteer and mentoring program.
  • Monitors policies and procedures for Human Resources and updates as needed.  

Quarterly:

  • Responsible for planning and organizing Quarterly Staff meetings.
  • Responsible to schedule Quarterly Random Drug Screenings as required by the agency Drug Free Workplace policy.

Annually:

  • Responsible for working with Big Oak Advisors in scheduling and notifying employees of changes for open enrollment period.

ORGANIZATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Attends staff meetings and workshops that enhance the capabilities of the position.
  • Works cooperatively with all staff and administrators in seeing that the needs of the agency are met and maintained.
  • Represents Vashti in a professional manner at all times.
