Community Program

There are so many children and families just trying to cope with what life has dealt them, and it’s our mission to help them find their new normal and cope with life. Many times it is as simple as helping them find the support systems and resources necessary for them to make it on their own. Other times it is teaching them how to be their definition of successful. There is no greater joy for us than to see a child or family that we work with succeeding. All of our team members are passionate about the work we do and they truly make a difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve.Nicole Cromer MEd, LPC

We firmly believe that healthy families lead to healthy communities. This commitment has inspired us in our work aiding children and youth who are currently living with mental health struggles. As a mission we want to be a beacon of faith, hope, and healing while working with these children as well as their families and guardians to ensure the brightest possible futures for the kids of the counties we provide services in. Children in our Residential Program are also fortunate enough to receive care via our Community Program as well.

With offices in Thomasville and Bainbridge, we are able to offer a full complement of mental health services to eligible children and youth ages 5-17. These services include, but our not limited to:

Trauma Assessment
Psychiatric Evaluations
Medication Evaluations
Drug and Alcohol Treatment and Education
Nursing Services
Individual, Group, and Family Therapy
Community Support Services

Peach State Health

As a part of a continuum of care, Vashti also has a resiliency clubhouse, Ventures on Broad. This program for youth is designed to provide a comprehensive and unique set of services for children and families coping with the isolation, stigma, and other challenges of mental health disorders. The clubhouse programs provide supportive services that include educational supports, employment services, peer support, family engagement, social activities, and other initiatives geared to engage youth and assist them in managing behaviors and symptoms.
