Community Support Worker (CSW) - Grady County

The Community Support Worker (CSW) is responsible for acting as the case manager for each consumer on the caseload.

Responsibilities for Community Support Worker

We are seeking a Certified Social Worker (CSW) to provide personalized support to our youth in person, helping them explore their strengths and overcome barriers as they work toward a more resilient future. In this role, you will advocate for each child by coordinating communications with collateral contacts as outlined in their treatment plan. You will also monitor the development of essential skills that promote healthy interactions with their peers, family, and community.

Mitchell County Openings

Therapist - Mitchell County

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in social services field. Must be Licensed Eligible. Prefer Licensed or Associate Licensed in the State of Georgia as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Development and conceptualization of child/adolescent needs based on presenting circumstances, family history, cultural considerations, and stated desires of child/adolescent and family. Provide therapy based on evidence-based theory and approaches to best meet the needs of presenting clients. Quality documentation submitted in a timely manner for the purpose of meeting service and State guidelines, and billing.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITES

  • Provide individual or family therapy as directed by consumer’s assessment and treatment plan.
  • Develop awareness of service guideline standards applicable to all providers of services for child/adolescent community mental health and addictive diseases.
  • To comply with fiscal intermediary service timetables.
  • Billing for care is an essential part of the position.
  • To comply with all Continuous Quality Improvement requests in a timely and complete manner.
  • To participate in staffing of caseload consumers as requested which may include initiating and overseeing PRTF (Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility) or psychiatric hospitalization.
  • To provide reports and notes to fiscal intermediaries of such quality that they are not disallowed and reimbursement secured.
  • To participate in Clinical Supervision as required by the Department of Behavioral Health Guidelines (if applicable).

Thomas County Openings

Childcare Worker (CCW) - Thomas County

QUALIFICATIONS

At least twenty-one (21) years of age, valid Georgia driver’s license, able to pass fingerprinting background check, high school diploma or equivalent and at least two years of previous experience working with children.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Child Care Worker (CCW) assures that the basic needs of the consumers in care are met and provides necessary supervision and individual attention. The CCW serves as a role model, and as such communicates and interprets the basic philosophy, policies, rules, programs and procedures of the program of care. Other duties of the CCW include but are not limited to maintaining cottage cleanliness, participation in recreational activities and transportation of consumers in care.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITES

  • Assists other staff in all aspects of day to day care
  • Implements structure and rules through supervision and guidance of consumers
  • Participates in the development and implementation of the treatment plan by understanding the consumer’s diagnosis
  • Administers and records medications to consumers in accordance with agency policies and procedures
  • Assists new consumers in becoming familiar with the RBWO program
  • Provides transportation of consumers as directed by supervisor
  • Assists staff in developing solutions to individual or cottage wide problems
  • Maintains cottage cleanliness and structure as outlined in the cottage inspection form
  • Participates in physical restraints of consumers when necessary
  • Works in a team relationship with supervisors and other CCWs
  • Participates in consumer recreational activities on and off the cottage
  • Completes necessary documentation thoroughly and as directed by supervisor
  • Reinforces the positive behaviors of consumers in care
  • Remains calm and therapeutic in tense situations
  • Structures and supervises the laundry time
  • Consistently works posted schedule without call-ins, tardiness, or early quits
  • Cooperates with schedule changes and is available to work in a crisis or when other Child Care Workers staff are unable to work their posted schedule
  • Follows appropriate protocol when unable to work posted schedule
  • Demonstrates a professional attitude through dress, demeanor and communication

Maintenance Technician - Thomas County

JOB DESCRIPTION

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for executing tasks related to the upkeep of Vashti Center’s buildings, grounds, and equipment. This position ensures a safe and well-maintained environment for all staff and residents.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum of one year of maintenance experience.
• Proven skills in carpentry, painting, appliance installation and repair, auto maintenance, plumbing, electrical, heating and air conditioning systems, and lock & key services.
• Ability to operate lawn equipment and perform winterization tasks for swimming pools, buildings, and vehicles.
• First Aid/CPR certification and knowledge of restraint techniques.

SERVICE RESPONSIBILITES

• Collaborates with maintenance team members to service electrical, plumbing, heating, and air conditioning systems across all agency buildings and grounds.
• Prepares swimming pools, buildings, and vehicles for winter conditions.
• Completes carpentry tasks as needed.
• Performs assigned painting tasks.
• Conducts general cleaning and maintenance duties as necessary.
• Installs new equipment, appliances, and automotive parts.
• Maintains lawn and grounds, including tasks such as seeding, mowing, weeding, trimming, and general clean-up.
• Assists with moving furniture for staff as required.
• Provides lock and key services and repairs, keeping accurate records as needed.
• Communicates maintenance needs to the supervisor and attends staff meetings and training as required.

Type: Part-Time

Pay: $14+/Hr
