After thoughtful consideration, Vashti’s Board of Trustees and Executive Leadership Team have decided not to move forward with the Bow Ties & Butterflies fundraiser (formerly Dinner on the Bricks) this year. As we reflect on our performance for Fiscal Year 2025, we believe the Development Department can make an even greater financial impact on our program funding by focusing our efforts on grant writing and deepening donor engagement.
This strategic shift allows us to build and nurture relationships with corporate sponsors, monthly online givers, and our broader community—including individuals, local businesses, and churches. These partnerships are key to sustaining our work and expanding our reach.
The stories of healing, hope, and transformation happening every day at Vashti through our trauma-informed behavioral health programs are powerful. We’re excited to share more of these success stories with you and focus on the most valuable activities that help us spread the good news of what God is doing through our mission.
While we’re pressing pause on formal fundraising events for now, we look forward to revisiting them in the future. We’re also exploring bringing back the South Georgia Ruck this fall—a community gathering in partnership with CrossFit Townie: A Fitness Community to support our mission and bring awareness to the work we do.
Your consistent support allows Vashti to thrive. Together, we are transforming children, families, and communities into a more vibrant world filled with faith, love, and resilience.
