This grant opportunity is designed to support organizations committed to preventing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and expanding trauma-informed care for children, youth, and families.
Grant Focus Areas
Eligible applicants may request funding for projects aligned with one or more of the following priorities:
- Program Costs – Direct expenses for implementing trauma-informed programs such as community education, outreach events, trainings, or train-the-trainer initiatives.
- Capacity Building – Support for leadership development, staff training, and infrastructure that enhances trauma-informed service delivery.
- Expansion – Resources to broaden the reach of effective programs into new geographic areas for greater impact.
Eligibility
Grants of up to $3,000 are open to 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations, schools, churches, and government agencies serving one or more of the following Southwest Georgia counties: Thomas, Grady, Colquitt, Decatur, Mitchell, Miller, Early, Seminole, and Brooks.
Applicants must demonstrate how their proposed project will contribute to reducing the effects of trauma and improving outcomes for individuals from birth to age 26 and their families.
